Defy A Thing To Be is a one-person-show comprised of experimental music and comedic poetry. The show explores the attempts of the host to toil in the process of defining performance and the authentic self. In loud and rhythmic incantations they prattle about their personal life while conjuring images of parasites, prosthetic limbs, and spirit possession. Defy A Thing is a dreamlike punk-drag show that tells stories of queer empowerment and brings levity to a dogged search for truth.
